Welcome to the website of Cat Homing and Rescue, (CHAR) based in Warrington, Cheshire.

Cat Homing and Rescue save stray and abandoned cats and kittens until we can find a loving forever home for them. We also aim to find suitable homes such as stables and smallholdings for working cats and will rehabilitate and rehome cats with disabilities.

All the cats that come into the care of Cat Homing and Rescue are checked by a vet, neutered and vaccinated. We work closely with The Willows Veterinary Group. Whilst in our care we feed the cats on the highest quality food โ€“ Royal Canin and Hills.

We recognise that although they make excellent companions, senior cats can be difficult to rehome so we have a โ€˜cat homing and rescue golden oldiesโ€™ scheme which means that CHAR will cover any veterinary costs of the senior cats we rehome.

Following rehoming we are always available on the end of the phone to offer help and advice and, when necessary, a shoulder to cry on.

Cat Homing and Rescue are a volunteer organisation and aim to meet all our overheads by our fundraising activities and donations.

If you are interested in adopting a cat or wish to make a donation or support the work of CHAR please telephone Hazel on 01925 824433
